UMA Coleccion Cabernet Sauvignon

Varietal: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon

Viticulture & Vinification: The pergola-trained grapes are harvested then gently pressed at controlled temperatures to insure an intense fruity bouquet. Traditional fermentation follows for 10 days. A percentage of the wine is then aged in American and French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes: Bright ruby red with spicy aromas of black currants and pepper. Excellent body and structure with soft luscious tannins and a long finish.

Serving Suggestions: The perfect accompaniment to roasted meats and stew.

UMA Syrah

Varietal: 100% Shiraz

Viticulture & Vinification: The drip irrigated Espalier trained grapevines are hand-harvested at the peak of ripeness. The grapes are then slowly macerated and fermented with constant pumping over of the juice to extract optimal flavor and color. The wine then rests for 2 months in tanks before bottling.

Tasting Notes: An intense, deep ruby red with rich aromas of red fruits, plums and cherries and a pleasant finish.

Serving Suggestions: An ideal accompaniment to roast beef, hearty stews or hard cheese.

UMA Bonarda

 

UMA Bonarda label

Varietal: 100% Bonarda

Viticulture and Vinification: Select grape clusters from the late ripening Bonarda grapes grown in the regions of Barrancas, Maipu and Mendoza are macerated and fermented in a temperature controlled environment to enhance the wines color and aroma followed by malolactic fermentation and stabilization. The wine then is allowed to rest for 6 months.

Tasting Notes: Inky purple in color with scarlet reflections with aromas of notes of plum with leather and tar notes.

Serving Suggestions: UMA Bonarda is an excellent accompaniment to roast duck, chicken, spicy sauces and pork.

 

UMA Chardonnay

Varietal: 100% Chardonnay

Viticulture & Vinification: The Espalier trained vines used in the production of Uma Chardonnay are hand harvested at the peak of perfection. The grapes are then fermented at low temperatures to enhance their fresh, fruity aromas followed by clarification, filtering and then bottling.

Tasting Notes: Pale gold in color with aromas of tropical fruits and intense varietal character. Crisp and well balanced with a fresh spicy mouth feel and a long lingering aftertaste

Serving Suggestions: The perfect complement to poultry and lightly sauced pasta dishes. Perfect as an aperitif.

Uma Torrontés

Varietal: 100% Torrontes

Viticulture & Vinification: Select drip irrigated Espalier trained Torrontes grapevines are hand-harvested at their peak. Low temperature vinification – to allow for the extraction of optimal flavors – is followed by clarification and filtering.

Tasting Notes: A crisp white with fruity aromas of melon with delicate floral notes and excellent balance.

Serving Suggestions: An ideal aperitif. Pairs perfectly with fish, seafood or lightly seasoned poultry dishes.
